STUDENT FILM FESTIVAL

SUBMIT YOUR FILM
We welcome Carl Sandburg High School students in grades 9-12 and any Sandburg alumni to submit a film to the Second Annual Film Festival. Films must be between 3 to 20 minutes in length and be consistent with ratings PG-13 and under. Any genre is welcome. Films should be submitted as both a YouTube link and as a saved and shared file in Google Drive. All film submissions must be accompanied by this form:

ATTEND THE FILM FESTIVAL
Support the arts and the Sandburg community by attending the film festival. Everyone is welcome to take part in this meaningful and fun experience. Tickets will be on sale in early 2025 and include the viewing of all films. Proceeds benefit the PFSA, which in turn benefit the student community at large with future activities, film events, scholarships and more.
New This Year:
Humanity Rising - RiseUp Challenge:
Just like last year, any genre of film is welcome. All films need to be rated PG-13 and under. New this year, you may want to submit a film (or an additional film, as you can submit more than one) on the topic of anti-bullying. Sandburg will be participating in the RiseUp Challenge and along with joining the Advisory Committee (if preferred), you can create a film to inspire others about this critical topic. SUPPORT THE ARTS & TAKE PART IN THE FILM FESTIVAL FUN
The PAC Lobby will feature food and dessert vendors with items available for purchase. All food and beverages must be kept in the PAC Lobby. Thank you for understanding and keeping our PAC in good condition!

PRIZES & ACCOLADES
All submitted films will be honored during the closing remarks. This year (given it's our second year and we have a little more experience) we will have several unique opportunities available for our film fest entrants, including a screening at an innovative theater in the Chicagoland area. More details to come.
